After 10 years of ministry at Bay City Baptist Chruch and School in Green Bay, God has called our family to a new ministry. By God's grace, we will plant a new Baptist Church in Kewaunee, WI.
During the Summer of 2009, God began to direct us to plant a church in Kewaunee after visiting a friend who had planted a church in Northern Wisconsin. The mission speaker that day mentioned that he was from Kewaunee and that there was no good Baptist church in Kewaunee. We felt the Lord moving on our hearts. Tiffany and I have sought the Lord together and are convinced this is our calling. Our families both support us. Bay City’s pastors, deacons, and church body all agree this is God’s direction.
The lakeshore communities of Kewaunee County do not have a Baptist church of any kind. The city of Kewaunee is a strongly Roman Catholic community of 2,800 people. Algoma lies just ten miles north of Kewaunee and has a population of just over 3,000. The closest Baptist churches are over thirty-five minutes from Kewaunee in any direction. This community has a need for a good, Bible preaching, New Testament church.
